In a devastating announcement last week, HP confirmed they will no longer be developing WebOS or making supporting devices.
Since that news broke, a ‘fire sale’ has hit, and HP TouchPads have been retailing for £89 for 16GB, or £115 for the 32GB model.
Hewlett Packard have said that the Pre 3 will follow, when it launches in the UK it will be unlocked for just $75 – probably £69.
The abandonment of WebOS may be the most shocking part, however, to tech fans – as HP had said they would continue to nurture the mobile Operating System when they bought Palm.
HP’s Head of WebOS, Stephen DeWitt said in a statement that current WebOS devices would continue to be supported.
