Xbox 360 dashboard features new Metro UI, live TV, apps

At E3, Microsoft announced another new dashboard update for the Xbox 360, as well as support for streaming live TV.

The new look is the same Metro UI style as incorporated on Zune, WP7, and now Windows 8.

Unfortunately, Media Center still only runs in its own UI and environment, which feels incredibly disjointed at this point, as well as somewhat contradictory to the push for the 360 as a media platform with the inclusion of live TV from Sky (in the UK).

Personally, I think it’s great that they’re streamlining the look and feel across all their products – but I’m not a 360 user. Head on past the more link to see the revamped design for yourself.
