iOS 5 - CameraSince your iPhone is always with you, it’s often the best way to capture those unexpected moments.

That’s Apple’s bold claim to the greatness of its camera app.

With that in mind, Apple has added a camera button to the lock screen – allowing you to snap the action quickly in these “unexpected moments”.

It also has ease of use in mind, with the volume up button now doubling up as a “shutter button”. There’s even pinch-to-zoom, single-tap focus and exposure locks. Grid lines can also be used to line up your shot perfectly.

For any more serious – but still quick – photo editing, the Photos app now features a simple “tap to enhance”, as well as red-eye removal, cropping, rotation and album management features.

And, of course, all your snaps are instantly backed up over iCloud.
