Intel say Medfield smartphones are on the way

Despite everyone being very satisfied with their ARM powered (Nvidia make the Tegra 2 under their ARM licence) smartphone, Intel feel a bit left out, and fancy themselves a piece of this particular smartphone pie.

It’s been delayed, which it oh-so-nobly blames on Nokia – it was “the wrong partner”, but now Intel say that smartphones powered by its Medfield CPUs will launch in the “first part of next year” “from major players”.
