Apple finally launch white iPhone 4

So it was a delayed launch for the white iPhone 4, ten months actually, but now it has arrived on the Apple site.

Originally it would’ve launched with the black iPhone 4 or soon after, but some delays (we think due to colour issues) have brought us here to launch – ten months and millions of black iPhone 4 sales later. The delays probably slowed sales a bit, people probably wanted an upgrade from white 3GS to white iPhone 4 – But nobody has the patience to wait ten months for a different colour; so after a few deadlines missed, they probably cashed in on a black model anyway.

What could this mean for the iPhone 5 ?
For me, this reaffirms rumors of a delayed iPhone 5 launch, with Apple potentially moving back the release date to join it with the September iPod launch.

This wouldn’t be a bad move, if they were to focus a June event on the new OSX launch, then they would have more time for white iPhone 4 sales (otherwise its going to enjoy a fairly short life span) And then in September they can go on a spree of product launches and all in time for the Holiday season.

Also, who’s to say that these rumors about “iCloud” aren’t true, they could tie this software and cloud storage into iTunes (although being Apple it will inherently cost a bomb) and then they could launch iTunes 11 along with OSX Lion all at the same time, same event and all, and don’t forget the iMacs should be updated soon if not, in June.
